I’m Pete and I have over 10 years experience coaching, mainly as a youth goalkeeper coach where I have worked with players who have gone on to play professionally. I’ve been involved in the GNR8 team since the beginning, and I have loved watching the club and the members develop over the last couple of years. I played football for 16 years at youth and senior levels winning numerous cup and league titles. I am now the current Captain of the Nottingham Vikings Ball Hockey Club, recently leading them to a league and playoff title. I am extremely passionate about sport, having coached youth sports for many years, my favourite thing about coaching is seeing individuals develop and being the best they can be which also allows me to better myself as a coach.

I founded the GNR8 Academy in 2019 with the aim to give everyone the opportunity to enjoy sport. With over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry, my passion is to develop young people and adults through sport and exercise. I started my journey as a PT In Loughborough, working with a range of different people, helping them get the most out of themselves. As well as running the GNR8 Academy I am also a full-time athlete and have competed internationally in both Athletics and Judo, representing great Britain at both the London 2012 and Tokyo 2020 games

I’ve been a fitness instructor/sports coach and GNR8 Academy since 2019, following completing my degree in Sport Physical Education & Coaching Science at the University of Birmingham. Currently, I’m undertaking my level 2 and level 3 PT and Gym instructor courses to further and develop my skills. In my spare time, I play football and have played for numerous teams like Loughborough Dynamo and Sileby Town. My most memorable achievements were winning back-to-back league and cup trophies for Loughborough college academy men’s 1st team and playing for my county. The most rewarding aspect for me working at GNR8 Academy is that I get the opportunity to give back what I have learned and use my methods of coaching to motivate and inspire people from all walks of life. I believe everyone deserves the chance to access the full physical, mental and social benefits through fitness and exercise.

Hey, I’m Sarah and I have been involved with GNR8 Academy since 2020. I look after all the stuff behind the scenes including memberships, day-to-day admin, marketing, and projects! I am hugely passionate about sport and getting more people active, having completed a sports degree at Loughborough University and working with sports clubs for the last 10 years. As a teenager, I was involved in Judo competitively where I won 5 national medals and competed at the Europeans. I then turned my attention to coaching and I am now a UKCC level 2 qualified coach. In my spare time, I play Rugby for Loughborough.

Hi I’m Sam! I’m 23 and have been involved in sport for as long as I can remember. I’ve been playing football since I was a kid, I’ve also played table tennis and badminton at county level. Sport has always been a passion of mine; I knew from a young age I wanted to peruse a career in coaching and personal training.  I love coaching other people and watching people progress and achieve their goals. I am an enthusiastic martial arts fan and enjoy spending time with friends and family.
