Over the festive period, GNR8 Academy decided to put another Winter Camp so that children across Leicestershire could do a variety of sports and activities as part of the HAF programme. This year, we hosted the camp across two venues, New College and New Parks youth club. Children got to take part in different sports and activities including boxing, football, cricket, Judo, arts and crafts, nutritional workshops and much more!  All children also received a gift for them to take home.

One student said “I love coming to camps at GNR8 Academy. I came in the summer and had to come back! It was great to see all the friends from last year and make even more friends. I really liked taking part in Judo”!  Another child said “I really like the crash mat game we played In the sports hall. I also liked to play football and got to me on a team with the new friends I made”.
